Welcome to 988jl: Your Premier Destination for Online Casino and Sports Betting Excellence in the Philippines

A betting system that eliminates the draw option by giving the underdog a virtual head start. Popular in soccer and basketball betting. Example: If you bet on a team with a -1.5 handicap, they must win by at least 2 goals for your bet to pay out.

A bet on whether the combined score of both teams will be over or under a specified number. Example: In an NBA game with O/U 215.5, you bet whether the total points scored will exceed or fall below that threshold.

The theoretical percentage of wagered money a slot or casino game returns to players over time. Example: A slot with 96% RTP theoretically pays back ₱96 for every ₱100 wagered long-term, though individual sessions vary greatly.

The mathematical advantage the casino holds over players. Lower house edge means better odds for players. Example: Blackjack has approximately 0.5% house edge with optimal play, while slot machines range from 2-10%.

The number of times you must bet through a bonus before withdrawing winnings. Example: A ₱1,000 bonus with 15x wagering requires ₱15,000 in total bets (₱1,000 × 15) before withdrawal eligibility.

Real casino games streamed live from studios with professional dealers via video. You place bets in real-time just like in a physical casino. Popular games include baccarat, roulette, and blackjack with human dealers.

Measures how often and how much a slot pays out. High volatility = infrequent but large wins. Low volatility = frequent but smaller wins. Medium volatility offers balanced gameplay suitable for most players.

A jackpot that increases with each bet placed across a network of connected slot machines. Can reach millions of pesos. Example: Our current progressive jackpot pool stands at ₱8,547,320 and grows with every spin.

A percentage of your losses returned to your account as a bonus. Example: With 10% weekly cashback, if you lose ₱5,000 in a week, you receive ₱500 back as bonus funds to continue playing.

Different ways to display betting probabilities. Decimal (2.50), fractional (3/2), and American (+150). At 988jl, we primarily use decimal odds which show your total return including your stake. Example: ₱100 bet at 2.50 odds returns ₱250 total.

This is the number of times you must bet through your bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings. Example: You receive a ₱1,000 bonus with 15x wagering. You must place ₱15,000 in total bets (₱1,000 × 15) before requesting withdrawal. Different games contribute differently—slots usually count 100%, while table games might only count 10-20% toward this requirement.

While using bonus funds, there's typically a cap on how much you can bet per spin or hand. At 988jl, this is usually ₱250-500 depending on the promotion. Example: Even if you have ₱10,000 in bonus funds, you cannot bet more than ₱500 per slot spin or blackjack hand until wagering is complete. Exceeding this limit may void your bonus and winnings.

Not all games contribute equally to wagering requirements. Slots typically contribute 100%, meaning every ₱100 wagered counts as ₱100 toward your requirement. Table games like blackjack and roulette usually contribute 10-20%, so a ₱100 bet only counts as ₱10-20. Sports betting generally contributes 10%. Always check contribution rates before choosing which games to play with bonus funds.

Bonuses don't last forever. Most 988jl bonuses expire 7, 14, or 30 days after activation depending on the promotion. Example: You claim a welcome bonus on Monday with a 14-day expiry. You must complete all wagering requirements and withdraw by Monday two weeks later, or any remaining bonus and associated winnings will be forfeited.

Sticky bonuses cannot be withdrawn—only the winnings you generate from them can be cashed out. The original bonus amount stays with the casino. Non-sticky bonuses can be withdrawn along with winnings once wagering is complete. Example: ₱1,000 sticky bonus—complete wagering, win ₱3,000, withdraw ₱3,000 (bonus amount removed). Non-sticky—complete wagering, win ₱3,000, withdraw ₱4,000 (bonus + winnings).

Some bonuses cap how much you can withdraw from bonus-derived winnings. Example: A no-deposit bonus might have a ₱5,000 maximum cashout. If you win ₱20,000 using that bonus, you can only withdraw ₱5,000—the rest is voided. Welcome deposit bonuses at 988jl typically have no cashout limit, but always read the specific promotion terms.
